CECHCR is proud to announce a comprehensive video-based educational series!

Made possible by a grant from the Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service, this program includes five modules of video training and extensive written resource materials that accompany each module, as well as live coaching conference calls.

In this series you will learn:

Each video is 15-20 minutes in length and comes packaged with a series of detailed handouts and a live coaching call during which you may ask questions and go deeper into subject areas of your choice with our health benefits expert. Purchasing the training packages gives you lifetime access to the videos and all of the handouts.

 

The Series

SEGMENT 1 - HEALTH BENEFITS COMMITTEE STRUCTURE AND OPERATION

This education package will teach newly forming committees the basics and foundational practices of working effectively as a labor-management committee that deals with health benefits. You’ll also learn about key components that contribute to health insurance rates, as well as factors that cause insurance rates to continue to increase.

SEGMENT 3 - CONTEMPORARY HEALTH CARE ISSUES IMPACTING THE BARGAINING TABLE

You’ll also learn how to find quality providers and what your employer obligations are under the Affordable Care Act.

This education package will discuss when to go to the marketplace, what data is needed, and what to look for when evaluating the proposals you receive. Also includes an overview of Employee Wellness Plans and shows you what to consider when looking into wellness programs and initiatives.

Our video education packages are priced based on the size of the district (number of employees, not ADA) divided into three tiers — small, medium and large districts. Receive a 25% discount when you buy the entire series!
