Governor Brown Signs DASH - Healthy After School Program Bill

Governor Brown has signed legislation to create a recognition program for after-school programs that adopt new standards for physical activity, healthy eating and screen-time. The program, known as the Distinguished After School Health Recognition, or DASH, will recognize programs that provide 30 minutes of physical activity, serve fruits and vegetables, and limit screen time.
