Custom-Designed Facilitation, Conflict Resolution and Training Programs
We offer a full range of custom-designed facilitation, conflict resolution and training programs for unions and employers – including leadership, work teams and individuals—that reflect and incorporate the accumulated expertise, wisdom and insight we have garnered about what works.
Facilitation: A neutral third-party facilitator allows you to focus on a workplace issue or problem, get to the heart of challenging issues and resolve them. Our facilitators help groups gain deeper understanding of the issues and work together to find creative solutions to solve problems and conflicts.By focusing on stakeholder interests and how best to meet those interests, our facilitators can help you rise above the situation and discover the best ways to solve your problem and/or reach your goals. Our neutral facilitators assist union-management groups, multi-stakeholder groups and worksite teams with collective bargaining negotiations, labor-management committees, leadership team meetings, retreats and resolution of specific issues, jurisdictional disputes across agencies or departments, worksite group problem solving and relationship building.
Conflict Resolution: CCS helps resolve destructive workplace conflict by utilizing an assessment process and specific protocals to help you gain the results you want.Whether the problem is between two employees, an employee and his/her supervisor, or among a worksite group, we begin with a comprehensive evaluation of the situation to help you determine if the vVS Conflict Resolution Process is right for you. Then, working with a specific set of ground rules and steps, our facilitative mediators help the parties work through the conflict and arrive at solutions, which are then reduced to writing. And, we can provide follow-up to ensure that the agreements are being implemented and working well.
Training: We specialize in providing training in collaborative process - including effective negotiations andproblem solving, as well as communications and relationship building. We offer basic, advanced and refresher training programs. And we often combine training and facilitation in our work with clients. We engage in careful assessment with each of our clients, and then tailor our services to each unique situation.
CCS Workplace Services also offer conferences and workshops on labor-management topics of interest.
