Andria (Andi) Fletcher Chief Consultant Andi is a nationally recognized expert, keynote speaker, author, workshop presenter and coach in afterschool program and leadership development. Andi is the lead author of the CCS publication A Guide To Developing Exemplary Practices in Afterschool Programs, which details 14 major practices and includes extensive self-assessment tools. She is also the author of CCS’ Expand & Excel CD ROM, a step-by-step guide for managing growth and strengthening quality in afterschool programs. She is the former director of Sacramento Start afterschool program, which she led to exponential growth. Andi helped initiate California's first afterschool legislation and is the author of numerous highly acclaimed afterschool publications. She also authored Lessons in Leadership, and developed and is leading the CCS Healthy Behaviors Initiative and learning community. She is the author of the Changing Lives, Saving Lives guide, and Developing Exemplary Practices in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Food Security in Afterschool Programs. Andi received a doctorate in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. |

Ediel Butts Mentor Ediel is a coach and mentor for more than 200 elementary school programs and sites in urban and rural areas. She has developed more than 100 exciting and engaging learning games linked to state standards and curricula and designed numerous multicultural enrichment components. Ediel is an expert in program start-up and frequent workshop presenter. She is a former afterschool Program Leader, Site Director and Regional Area Director for a nationally recognized afterschool program. She has nine years of experience in building exemplary afterschool programs. Ediel has been an important part of the CCS Healthy Behaviors Initiative, developing a Guide to an Effective Community Connections Summit to bring nutrition and physical activity organizations together with afterschool organizations. She also provides coaching and consultation to Healthy Behaviors Learning Center programs. Ediel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from St. Paul’s College in the Phillipines. |

Gloria Halley Mentor/Coach/Consultant Gloria is a professional expert with 20 years of experience building partnerships and coaching and mentoring more than 200 communities, programs and sites. She serves as the regional lead for Afterschool Region 2 serving nine Northern California counties. She is a specialist in developing sustainable afterschool programs and has delivered more than 100 workshops on collaboration building, youth development, leadership, multiculturalism and program sustainability. Gloria has been a key consultant for the CCS Healthy Behaviors Initiative, in leading the learning community, and providing training and coaching to Healthy Behaviors Learning Center programs. Gloria received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from California Baptist University. |

CynDee Zandes Senior Consultant CynDee Zandes, Senior Consultant. CynDee is an expert in all aspects of starting and operating successful afterschool programs. She is the author of CCS’ Afterschool Start Up Toolkit CD ROM, and partnered in CCS’ Afterschool Leadership Initiative. CynDee is an outstanding trainer, coach and consultant—and works with many afterschool programs, focusing on program start-up and leadership development. She is currently the Chief Program Officer at Think Together afterschool program where she oversees the development of program and curriculum in both the ASES/21st Century program sites and at the community sites, as well as the training and staff development of more than 1200 staff. She is the former director of the acclaimed Greenfield School District's Foundation for SUCCESS afterschool program. She is a skilled workshop creator—particularly in the areas of building quality programs, staff development, youth development and creating balanced programming. She is a former certificated teacher and principal. CynDee received a doctorate in Organizational Leadership, with a dissertation on afterschool programs, from the University of La Verne. |
