Board of Directors - Annie Song-Hill, Presiding Conciliator

State Mediation & Conciliation Service (SMCS)
Annie has been working in human resource management, organizational development, and as neutral facilitator and mediator for the past thirty years. She is skilled in all aspects of human resource work including classification, pay, recruitment and employee and labor relations as well as conflict management, mediation, facilitation and training.

An organization’s culture--particularly as it relates to how conflicts are resolved—has a profound impact on the lives of individuals within the organization. Annie’s work has been dedicated to institutionalizing values of human dignity, respect, cooperation and peace in the workplace. It is her belief that organizations that practice these values are more effective in achieving their objectives. In March 2006 Annie was appointed to a position as Conciliator for the State Mediation and Conciliation Service. In March 2008 she was promoted to the position of presiding conciliator. She has successfully mediated numerous labor disputes and facilitated coalition bargaining on health benefits.

Annie currently sits on the board of directors of The Fullerton Family Trust and the Center for Collaborative Solutions. She has a Masters degree in Public Administration
and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
